This is the desirable facelift 2006 SL350, with the more powerful, efficient and economical 3.5l V6 M272 engine, 7G-Tronic transmission and factory upgraded AMG body kit with 19" AMG alloys. This car comes in the most attractive colour combination of tanzanite blue and luxurious beige interior with Mercedes wood panelling and wood steering wheel which is wonderful to feel. had searched and viewed many SL's before finding this one. 
Those that are familiar with these cars know to avoid the pre 2006 models due to lack of power, SBC issues amongst other faults. They also know to avoid the SL500's as they all come with the dreaded ABC suspension which is nightmare to fix. The SL350 is more frugal and still has loads of power to enjoy. These are glorious cars are perhaps the best SL's made in terms of looks, they do not rust and are built like tank, however all including post 2006 models suffer with common problem resulting from water ingress through the trunk seals into the boot leading to auto electrical faults. 
The reason purchased this car was that all the roof seals were replaced at cost of over £3k by the previous owner, in addition the ECU and balance shaft were replaced, if you're looking for an SL350 make sure these are done.
The car has been preloved without any cost spared by me and previous enthusiasts.
